Our sunless tanning solutions contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Eurythrolose , which reacts with the dead surface cells found in the outermost layer of the skin (amino acids); this then produces color change. Our solutions have instant bronzers to ensre an even application and instant results. Most of the added bronzer will come off in the first shower after your waiting time. The color that remains is produced by the DHA reacting with the skin. Naturally, the dead cells on your skin will wear off and its color gradually fades away, giving you a tan that is almost like a genuine sun tan without the harmful UV rays.

On the night prior to, or on the morning of the tanning session, the client should shower using mild, non-moisturizing gel soap. Exfoliate the skin with a NON-oil based exfoliant.Shower, and exfoliate before your appointment using mild, non-moisturizing soap and a non-oil based exfoliate. For the best results the person's skin should be clean and free from moisturizers, make-up (makeup wipes are provided), perfumes and deodorants. Use caution while conditioning the hair, making sure the conditioner does not get on the skin. Such products could cause the solution not to perform as well.This could cause a barrier between the tanning solution and the skin. (If your schedule does not allow showering prior to your appointment, we can supply you with an exfoliating wipe. The exfoliating wipes quickly cleanse, exfoliate and pH balance the skin before sunless products are applied, ensuring that the tanning solution absorbs more effectively). Waxing, shaving, manicures and pedicures should be done prior to your session.

Our formula has been specially formulated to produce a balanced tan without the orange tint and delivers a natural looking, golden tan. The orange tint is often the result of excessive quantities of DHA being applied to the skin.

1. Make sure to wear loose fitting clothing to your tanning session. Make sure there isn’t a tight band or elastic clenching to your body. DO NOT wear jeans. Wearing loose attire will ensure that the tan will not rub off or be disturbed. Flip flops and sandals are recommended, rather than socks and shoes. 2. During your tanning session, you may wear a bathing suit or undergarments. Disposables are available as an alternative. (free of charge) Nude or topless tanning is allowed. Please be aware whatever you do keep on during your tanning session is where you will have tan lines. Don’t be shy; our staff members are completely professional and all are female technicians. Your privacy is our top priority. We know how difficult it can be to show your imperfections, especially when it comes to your body. We take care to ensure we limit our traffic at our studio during your scheduled appointment.

We recommend that after your rinse off (2-8hrs depending on the solution) that you use lotion daily. With proper moisturizing and hydration your tan can last 7-10 days. Yes, most fake tans are safe to use during pregnancy. The active ingredient in fake tan is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a type of sugar. It's non-toxic and works by interacting with the protein of the skin cells in the top, dead layer of your skin. The chemical reaction within these dead cells results in the production of a brown pigment called melanoidin. Some fake tans also contain an ingredient called erythrulose, which works in the same way as DHA. DHA and erythrulose won't harm your baby. When applied to your skin, DHA and erythrulose don’t go beyond the top cell layer. This means they aren’t absorbed into your body. As your skin renews itself, the fake tan fades as the skins cells are shed. It’s also worth bearing in mind that spray tans, although rare, can cause allergic reactions. You might want to do a small patch test first to see if you are allergic to the ingredients.

Because we use a HVLP (high volume low pressure) turbine spray gun, it will take approximately 15 minutes from start to finish. Wear loose fitting dark colored clothing immediately after your session. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers. You must wait a minimum of 8 hours before showering or working out. (RAPID SUNLESS solutions are available). You can even come by during your lunch break from work. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
